About Galgotias University

The Galgotias University, Uttar Pradesh, sponsored by Smt. Shakuntala Educational and Welfare Society, has been established by state of Uttar Pradesh under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 vide The Galgotias University Uttar Pradesh Act, 14 of 2011. The University commenced its operation from the academic session 2011-12.

Galgotias University opened its door to the first batch of approximately 1,700 undergraduate and post-graduate students in July of 2011. Now in year 2021, the university has grown to more than 13000 students. Galgotias University aspires to be and is on a fast-track to become an internationally recognized university that excels in multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary education, research and innovation, educating globally competitive graduates with potential to become leaders in their fields of endeavour. The graduates will have deep knowledge within their fields but will also excel in problem solving skills, will be aware of the societal context of their chosen profession, will function effectively in teams, will have good communications skills and above all, be life-long learners.

The 'students-first' philosophy is a big reason why Galgotias University is consistently ranked among India's top universities. The focus of Galgotias University is on low student-to-faculty ratio that promotes plenty of personal attention and mentoring opportunities.

The record-breaking placement at Galgotias this year is an apt testimony to its focus on upholding the highest academic standards right from selecting top faculty, introducing world-class pedagogical practices to personality development of the students. We have 13 schools with 49 UG programs 40 PG programs and 21 PhD programs. Trends in Cloud Computing and Big data Analytics

Brief Description of the Session:

Big data and cloud computing are essential to business. Because they help the business grow and become more productive, they are the centre of attention. Cloud computing is a method that provides virtual services. These reliable and secure services may be accessed with the help of the internet. Small businesses gain a lot from it because it affordably provides storage space and efficiently uses their data for research. Cutting-edge technology, nevertheless, may be accessed by simply paying for the time and resources used in cloud computing. Cloud apps are developed with the help of big data as well. Without big data, there would be considerably fewer cloud-based applications because there would be no real need for them. Big data is routinely acquired via cloud-based services. Papers on big data, cloud computing, and related topics are invited.

AI-Driven approaches for enhanced medical image analysis

Brief Description of the Session:

This session is a discussion of innovative techniques from the field of artificial intelligence that is now being used in the analysis of medical images. Several studies have been carried out in the field of medical image analysis; nevertheless, there is a significant barrier preventing these works from being employed in the actual world. The primary reason for this is that the statistical and probabilistic procedures that are utilized for the study are not tested for a scenario in which there would be data that has not yet been observed. There is also no visualization of the learning that is generated in these algorithms from the multi-modal data that is readily available, which is another reason. This special session invites works in the fields of machine learning, deep learning, evolutionary computation, and bio-inspired algorithms with the intention of improving the ability of medical imaging systems to analyze data and make decisions. These works will be beneficial to the research community as well as the stakeholders in medical informatics, and they will most likely have a great positive impact on the systems that exist in the real world.

Deep Learning, AI and IOT for Computer Vision and BlockChain

Brief Description of the Session:

The technologies that allow computers to analyze images are referred to as computer vision. This makes it possible for models to analyze picture and video collections and then use their analysis for tasks like prediction or decision-making. A lot of development has also occurred in more conventional application areas like multimedia, robotics, and medical imaging. The Internet of Things, augmented reality, autonomous driving, human-computer interaction, and vision for the blind are just a few of the new application fields that are emerging. In non-traditional industries like astronomy, nanotechnology, and cutting-edge brain imaging techniques, computer vision is being employed more and more. Computer vision has the potential to significantly improve the healthcare sector. There are several ways to mix the technologies of blockchain, IoT, and AI. Since the fusion of these technologies will improve business models, goods, and services, the convergence of these advances will occur. These commercial models could be broadly used for any autonomous agents, including sensors, vehicles, equipment, trucks, cameras, and other Internet of Things (IoT) devices. These agents could act as independent economic agents, sending and receiving money on their own, and using AI and data analytics to make judgments. Such business model development and industrial organizations’ digital transformation will be driven by convergence. To achieve enormous efficiency advantages, researchers should work with these technologies. For diverse computer vision and blockchain applications, this Special Session intends to deliver a collection of publications that highlight the development of machine learning/deep learning, blockchains, IOT, and sensing technologies.

Federated Computing

Brief Description of the Session:

Computing is based on the coordinated use of computer devices (hardware) and program (software) that run them. The computing devices may vary from small IoT device to high end servers (HPC). These devices may be connected through wired or wireless networks, and they require special attention to coordinate, connect, offloading and downloading to create an unified distributed computing. One of the important aspects of leveraging the benefit of computing devices is the management and programmability of the ingested traffic. Nowadays, the software-defined network is the key to enable the unified distributed computing network. The distributed computing requires a decision making to offload the compute to connected devices. These decisions may find the solutions based on the AI, machine learning and Deep learning techniques.
This special session will accept the paper from the following domain.
1. Computing over Wired network
2. Computing over Wireless networks
3. Software-defined Network
